Religious Animals

Dear Neophyte,

I believe that cats are living religion, which is why they do not need to pray.  They have intelligence, opinions and souls and are capable of using all three at their will.  Other animals are similar but cats are the closest creatures to human in these regards.  Unlike dogs, cats can be independent even in a group setting.

My cats know all my secrets:

When I swoon, for whom and the songs I play for them.
My gods and how I worship and believe in them.
What is in my head and in my heart.
The rules I bend and why.
My white lies.
My prison-worthy lies.
The sweet things I am capable of doing, saying and thinking.
How kind I am capable of being.
That I know how to get a cat drunk.
Why I'm suddenly nice to people I'm not happy with.
The secrets of people I'm not happy with.

Cats are the sacred secret keepers.  Someone to whom we can blab our heart's desires to and they will never tell a soul.  Once more, unlike a few other people I know, they listen and they care.

I very much like the idea of putting a protective charm on your cats collar to keep them safe.  They keep your secrets from others, you can keep fleas and tires off of them!

Salutations,
Sesh

P.S: About the picture:
This picture is one that I took of my sister's kitty at her home in Oregon.  Her name is Jasper.  One night, two years ago, her owners took her 6 week old self away from the warmth of her mother and siblings and threw here into the ditch along a stretch of deserted highway.  My sister was in the car behind them and all she saw sas something white go flying out the window and the car speed off.  There was an inch of snow on the ground covering the previous nights ice storm.

If not for my sister's habit of picking up trash (what she though it was) this cat would have frozen to death in minutes and not be alive today.  Now she is well cared for and loved as all domesticated animals are meant to be loved.

Inhuman people deserve infertility and blight, so that not only can they not spread their emotional diseases onto the next generation, but they wont be around long enough to infect those of us already here.
