Dear Blacky,
In circle on Friday (today) a certain someone invoked a certain something ("Bonzo Pipenpadilopsicopolis") that does not exist outside of cartoon reality. There was maybe two seconds of pausing while Prof. Mary tried to understand what he (Quin) said.
Everyone whooped and we went right on with the circle. Quin locked eyes with my sister and I and we all grinned. Yes, he did just do that. yes, he did just get away with it. Latter Quin says to us, "And that's why I don't mind being 'the quiet one'. You two are too loud!" I don't think the circle even knew they invoked a fake fake person.
Moments like this are why I love Portland so much.
